Madeleine Bowens serves as our Outreach Coordinator, actively engaging with community agencies and participants to ensure comprehensive awareness of the diverse benefits and supports offered through the Ticket to Work Program.
Madeleine is a Certified Benefits Planning Assistance and Outreach Specialist (BPAO) through Cornell University and formerly served as the Senior Manager of the Kansas Medicaid Buy-In Program (MBI), Working Healthy.
Madeleine possesses extensive expertise in benefits planning, as well as in Medicaid and Medicare coverage, and has comprehensive knowledge of the Ticket to Work Programs, particularly regarding work incentives.
Madeleine has many years of experience in developing outreach opportunities, tailoring presentations/information and outreach styles to the needs of each audience.
Madeleine moved from the U.K. to the U.S. in 1990 and has worked in multiple roles supporting people experiencing various disabilities entering the workforce. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her dogs.
Our Administrative Assistant, Kayla Lawhon, also provides part-time clerical support. She enjoys a career as a nurse (R.N.) and nursing tutor at a local community college, painting, reading, and especially being a mom.
